Fabrics

General Info:

All Moss Studio fabrics used for slipcovered styles are pre-washed and dried. The exception would be if the customer specifies otherwise or the fabric is one of the select few Moss Studio fabrics indicated as “dry clean only.” The washing and drying process eliminates most shrinkage and allows for a great fitting slipcover.

COM (customer’s own material) – all COM fabrics are charged as COM and will not be washed and dried without a signed waiver indicating the customer accepts responsibility for the outcome of the fabric after completing the wash and dry process.

We have an extensive library of fabrics at Moss Studio. As a special service to our customers, if you need a different color, shade or pattern than offered in your swatch set, please call your rep. Your rep will make a request to the main office to send you cuttings from the fabric library which will hopefully fulfill your fabric requirement.

We have gone to great lengths to choose to work with the fabric houses that have displayed the best delivery history. We will always make every effort to obtain your fabric immediately, but in the event your fabric is backordered, Moss Studio will inform your rep, who will then notify you. You will have the option to wait for the backordered fabric or choose another fabric. These delays are very frustrating to us and we will always notify you of any delay so that you can also keep your customer abreast of the situation.

Sales Materials:

In order to obtain sales materials at no cost accounts need to meet a minimum first order of $5,000. If not met, sales tools will cost (see pricing below) plus shipping costs, upon request. If a total of $5,000 of merchandise is ordered within a sixth month period after receiving sales materials, the amount charged will be credited on a future order, excluding shipping costs.

Customers who maintain sales of $5,000 during the calendar year will receive new addition updates at no charge; otherwise, there will be a $5 charge per new introduction swatch.
